Tears in the Sun

Tears in the sun, blood in the moon
Anger tears the ocean apart
The sea mourns its fortunes
The rivers have turned cemetery for dead creatures
The land has evicted the flowers

The wakaalah has failed the realm
In vain pursuit of gold and diamonds
He has hurt the realm and its occupiers
Now he is at war with them
A war he cannot win

The realm is yet to declare war
But the arsenals are piling up
Soon the realm will host war
And the hiding places will be imprisonment centres
As the stubborn wakaalah is sacked

At the horizon, the realm wants peace
The blanket of peace it has offered
In patience, it waits for the acceptance
To herald a return to a happy union
The blanket of peace lies at their doors.
